We are now looking for aSr. Engineer / Engineer in Process Engineering & Productionto strengthen our manufacturing and production engineering capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and optimizemanufacturing processesfor heavy fabrication and welding.
- Plan and implementwelding process standards, including process qualification and validation.
- Conductwelding testing(destructive and non-destructive) and ensure process compliance.
- Monitor and resolvewelding defects, applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support shopfloor teams inprocess improvements, fixture utilization, and cycle time reduction.
- Prepare and updateprocess documentation, SOPs, and quality recordsin line with standards.
- Collaborate with NPD, Quality, and Production teams to ensure manufacturability of new parts.
- Drive continuous improvement forsafety, productivity, and cost optimization.
- Provide technical support duringcustomer audits and production reviews.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.Tech inMechanical Engineering.
- 46 years of experiencein process engineering, welding, or heavy fabrication.
- In-depth knowledge ofwelding processes (MIG, TIG, spot, arc)and testing methods.
- Practical understanding ofwelding defects and corrective measures.
- Strong knowledge ofheavy fabrication part manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience withproduction engineering improvementsandprocess validation.
- Familiarity withAPQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and customer-specific standards.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to coordinate between teams and present technical findings.
