We are looking for motivated professionals with design knowledge and experience in design of ACB mechanism, casette, accessoires and integration, control mechanical devices and analyzing data.
Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Testing, and Release) following a structured engineering process to ensure quality and reliability.
Responsible for supporting the deisgn of Mechanism, Arc chute, housing for products like LV circuit breaker (ACB and MCCB).
In depth understanding design of sheet metal, plastic part design.
Collaborate with external and internal customers, such as Product Management, Field Service, Operations and other Engineering teams during the product development life cycle
Responsible for Design, developemnt and testing of sub system of LV circuit breaker like Mechanism, Arc chute, housing products like LV circuit breaker (ACB and MCCB).
Expertise in design of sheet metal, plastic part design,different sensor selection and its integration.
Ability to drive a technology design with a team of engineers both locally and remote
Leverage Design for Six Sigma for reliable and on time launch of the projects
Qualifications
Requirement:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical
6+ Yrs of experience design and development experience related to sub system like Mechanism, Arc chute, trip unit, housing used in products like LV circuit breaker (ACB and MCCB).
Skills
Candidate should have understanding in plastic and sheet metal parts.
Candidate should understanding of Six Sigma methodology.
Candidate should understanding of mechanism of ACB and MCCB.
Candidate should have hands on experiences of Configuration Engg and BID Manager. Handleing Label system for global plant.
Understanding UL 489, UL 1066 standards and IEC 60947-1,2
Experiences of ACB testing at External Certification Lab
Candidate should have experience in plastic and sheet metal parts.
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology with examples of practical application.
Understanding of stored energy mechanism and low voltage circuit breakers functioning.
Hands on experience in Mechanism design .
Knowledge in Manufacturing of sheet metal plastic parts.
Good knowledge on modeling software Creo 7.0 and Enovia.
Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) to communicate information effectively to customers, and technical staff.
