About the Role
- Design and develop automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate or similar tools to streamline and optimize technology deployments and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements for workflow development.
- Configure and integrate Power Automate with various applications and systems to enable seamless provisioning and service delivery from IT perspective.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing IT processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
- Build and maintain connectors, APIs, and custom actions in Power Automate to extend its functionality and integrate with external systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including workflow diagrams, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Automate workflows, ensuring their reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with the Azure team to leverage Azure services, such as Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions, to build end-to-end automation solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies, Power Automate updates, and Azure services to continually enhance the automation capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on Power Automate best practices, design patterns, and troubleshooting techniques.
Competencies and Skills
- 10+ years of relevant IT experience in IT Automation.
- Experience with large Enterprise
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role, with a focus on IT automation in on premises and Cloud platform.
- In-depth understanding of Power Automate capabilities, including creating flows, connectors, expressions, and working with variables.
- Proficient in designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge with scripting languages like PowerShell or JavaScript for customizing Power Automate or similar workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation workflows. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher
