Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Designer to prepare detailed and accurate electrical drawings for construction and MEP projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical layouts, including power, lighting, ELV systems, and panel schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and update electrical layout drawings including:

Power layouts (lighting, sockets, equipment power)

Lighting layouts with lux level considerations (if applicable)

Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)

Earthing and lightning protection layouts

DB schedules and cable tray routing

ELV systems (CCTV, fire alarm, data, access control, etc.)

Modify drawings as per site changes, consultant comments, and engineer inputs.

Generate as-built drawings post-execution and handover.

Coordinate with electrical engineers and site teams for red-markings and technical clarifications.

Maintain drawing documentation and version control.

Assist in preparing shop drawings and coordination drawings for services (MEP).

Ensure that all drawings are in compliance with project standards and client specifications.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D optional).

Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (IS/NBC basic understanding preferred).

Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Good understanding of basic electrical systems used in commercial/residential/industrial projects.

Accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word).

Preferred

Experience working with consultants or contractors in the MEP domain.

Knowledge of submission requirements for electrical authorities (like CEIG/utilityboards
