Role Snapshot

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will be deeply technical, with handson expertise across cloud infrastructure, automation, container orchestration, monitoring, and security. You will lead the design and operation of CI/CD systems, infrastructure as code, and site reliability practices, enabling our development teams to deliver high-quality software rapidly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

-Architect, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform with emphasis on high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency.

-Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar, automating build, test, deployment, and rollback processes.

-Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools, ensuring version control, modularity, and reusability.

-Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate container workloads with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS), implementing best practices for deployment strategies (rolling updates, blue/green, canary).

-Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk, or similar to ensure system observability and proactive issue detection.

-Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines, including secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS), network segmentation, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance adherence.

-Troubleshoot complex system issues across cloud infrastructure, networking, and application layers; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

-Collaborate cross-functionally with development, QA, security, and product teams to enable seamless integration and delivery workflows aligned with Agile and DevSecOps principles.

-Lead and mentor junior engineers, conducting code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

-Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks and drive adoption to improve automation, scalability, and reliability.

-Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and capacity planning to safeguard business continuity

What We're Looking For

-5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering roles.

-Deep expertise in cloud platformsAWS (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform with hands-on experience in managing production workloads.

-Proven mastery of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration including Helm charts, operators, service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) is a plus.

-Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Spinnaker, or ArgoCD with experience building complex pipeline workflows.

-Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef) including modular design, state management, and collaboration practices.

-Advanced scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby to automate operational tasks and tooling.

-Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, VPN, firewalls, and CDN integration.

-Expertise in monitoring and logging stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, or Datadog.

-Experience with security tooling and practices: secrets management, vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001), and IAM policies.

-Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) from an operational perspective.

-Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies, with a track record of embedding these into engineering culture

Preferred Qualifications

-Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.

-Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions) -Exposure to service mesh technologies and advanced Kubernetes networking/security patterns.

-Hands-on experience with chaos engineering and performance testing tools.

-Knowledge of infrastructure cost optimization and governance practices.
