The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in modern cloud infrastructure, automation, and system reliability. The ideal candidate will be a senior technical contributor who owns critical infrastructure, drives improvements across the software delivery lifecycle, and upholds best practices in operational excellence

What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar).
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.), and automation for
- deployment and monitoring.
- Lead by example with hands-on engineeringdesigning solutions, reviewing code, and driving best practices for
- reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues, participating in on-call rotations as needed.
- Collaborate with application engineering and security teams to improve service reliability, observability, and operational
- processes.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools or processes to improve DevOps efficiency and platform health.
- Share knowledge through code reviews, documentation, and occasional mentoring of junior team members.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering (strong senior IC track record, not managerial).
- Expert in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, containers, and distributed systems.
- Proficient in writing automation and infrastructure code (Python, Go, Shell, Terraform, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix internals, networking, and security in cloud-native environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and operational rigor.
Nice To Have:
- Experience in regulated environments (fintech, healthcare, etc.).
- Contributions to open-source projects or public technical content (GitHub, blogs, etc.).
- AWS or cloud certifications.
