Position Summary: We're lookingfor a SeniorDecision ManagementAssociate - SMTS to join theCollector Rulesteam within theProduct Managementdivision in Chennai. The Team: RevenueCycle Management(RCM) is a coreservice offeredby athena throughour Collectorproduct and relatedservices. Collectorproduct teamsin Chennai areresponsible fordeveloping anddelivering theProduct roadmap. Rules Zone underCollector isresponsible forthe life cycleand governanceof business rulesbased on clientrequests andindustry regulations.

As a memberof our team,you will be responsiblefor convertinghighly impactfullegacy code intonew-age technicalimplementationwhile keepingbusiness outcomesintact. Ultimately, your work willfocus on improvingcorporate performance, product performance, and clinicaloutcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret existing Object-Perl code covering subroutines, file handling, OOPS concepts, etc.
• Reverse engineer complex PERL code and convert it into business requirements/specifications in DMN (Decision Modeling Notation) that is technically sound, performant, scalable, and readable.
• Test and debug implemented DMN files
• Debug Perl code
• Create and debug Java methods
• Act as the subject matter expert for your area of assignment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Rules Zone to define project scope, complete deliverables, and ensure products meet customer requirements
  

Typical Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge and 4-8 years of solid experience in software development
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools, such as JIRA
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Java
• Experience in decision modeling tools (DMN) covering complex DMN implementation with business and technical attributes, BKMs, FEEL Operators, decision tables, handling iterations, etc.
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment while producing quality code
• Willingness to take on complex challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with direct and cross-functional teams
