Job Summary:
The Senior Designer is a key creative role, responsible for leading the visual development and execution of branding initiatives and integrated marketing campaigns. This role requires a strong understanding of brand strategy, visual communication principles, and the ability to translate marketing objectives into compelling and effective design solutions. The Senior Designer will mentor junior designers, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure the consistent application of brand guidelines across all channels.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Development & Management:
- Lead the visual development and evolution of brand identities, including logos, color palettes, typography, and visual guidelines.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive brand style guides.
- Campaign Conceptualization & Execution:
- Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to develop creative concepts for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Translate campaign objectives and target audience insights into visually engaging designs.
- Oversee the design and production of campaign assets, including website visuals, social media content, email templates, and print materials.
- Design Leadership & Mentorship:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their creative growth and skill development.
- Review and critique design work to ensure quality and adherence to brand standards.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of innovative design solutions.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
- Client Communication & Presentation:
- Present design concepts and solutions to clients, effectively articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
- Incorporate client feedback and revisions into design deliverables.
- Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted design advisor.
- Staying Current:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, design technologies, and best practices.
- Research and explore new design approaches and techniques.
- Share knowledge and insights with the design team.
- Deliver GIFs and Cinemagraphs
- Conduct quality checks on design elements to ensure they meet the highest standards and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Work with vendors and other external partners to oversee production processes.
- Ensure all designs are optimized for various platforms and devices, including web and mobile.
Requirements:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing branding and campaign work.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of AI tools
- A deep understanding of brand strategy, visual communication principles, and marketing concepts.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful branding initiatives and marketing campaigns.
