Role Name:Senior Database Engineer
Desired Experience Range:6 TO 11years
Location of Requirement:Hyderabad
Must-Have:
.5+ years work experience as a DBA on relational databases support and maintenance, familiar with at least one DB (Sybase ASE ,MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.).
.Be proficient on SQL DDL and DML, Store Procedures, Triggers etc.
.3+ years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix platform.
.Ability to own troubleshooting and tuning on database peformance issues.
.Experience in Agile development process and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence etc.).
.Strong sense of core system support and customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
.Involve into EJV/CCT KTLO project, new feature, content enhancement, KTLO bug fix related DB change request, review design, coordinate delivery plan.
.Coordinate and communicate with relevant Dev/Product Support/IRM teams on DB changes, figure out the impact on each other and downstream customer, finalize change deployment plan and deploy change to central DBOR and customer DSOS databases.
.Support QA team to complete their DB testing task, provide DB technical consultancy for them.
.Operational DB Oncall support. Response DB issues request (data latency, data error, query slowness, DB access etc) from internal/external customers, resolve together with relevant team.
.Proactive monitoring of database health events, handle it preventatively.
.DB parameter adjustment, performance tuning with data growth and other infra structure/application change implications.
.Respond to hardware TECH refresh support, security event, DR event, OS event, regular testing, Brexit, Modernization request, coordinate with different teams for implementation.
.Respond to DB SYNC requests from various Dev/QA team.
.Database capacity planning and management, server benchmark/load testing.
.Builds trusting relationships with team and colleagues, collaborating closely with team.
.Communicates with clarity and precision in a concise format.
