Senior Data Scientist

We are looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist for our Technology team in Hyderabad. An ideal candidate would be a strategic thinker for a penchant of delivering futuristic solutions with an eye on innovation and growth. The candidate must be able to create and execute high quality codes, lead with ideas and provide real time solutions to strengthen product offerings. This role will work 2pm – 11pm IST and in hybrid model.

The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Apply data science and machine learning for the end-to-end development and deployment of data-driven insights.

· Collaborate with and understand the needs of stakeholders from a variety of business functions.

· Work closely with Product, Sales and Engineering functions and with the Marketing and Finance organizations.

· Shape the direction of key data science areas, including segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, churn prediction and insights.

· Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Customer Success to understand product usage patterns and trends and make data-driven decisions, recommendations and forecasts.

· Understand deployment patterns, NLP and ML Flows and Operations

· Manage stakeholders for their focus area, including gather changing requirements, define project OKRs and milestones, and communicate progress and results to a non-technical audience.

· Mentor and guide junior data scientists on the team by helping with project planning, technical decisions, and code and document review.

· Represent the data science discipline throughout the organization, having a powerful voice to make Kroll more data driven.

· Build self-serving internal data products to make data simple within the company.

Requirements:

· Minimum seven years of experience in a similar role with a minimum qualification of BE/BTech/BCA/BSc (IT/CS)

· Technical expertise in the concepts of Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)

· Strong coding skills in general purpose languages like Python and SQL, and familiarity with software engineering principles around testing, code reviews and deployment.

· Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity with a go-getter attitude

· High level of interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proactive and confident using your own initiative

· Excellent time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects and remain calm under pressure

· Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and our employees
