Role Overview
We're seeking a driven and meticulous Senior Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Power BI dashboards and reports for our diverse client base. You'll translate complex data into actionable insights, ensuring our clients have the information they need to make informed decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on varied projects and contribute directly to client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet client requirements and business objectives.
- Connect to various data sources (e.g., BigQuery, Azure SQL, Excel, APIs) and perform data transformations using Power Query.
- Write and optimize DAX expressions to create complex calculations and measures.
- Optimize Power BI models for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Power BI deliverables.
- Occasionally assist in sales analytics, lead tracking, or project reporting.
Ideal Candidate
- 13 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions with Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (BigQuery, Azure SQL, or other relational databases).
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles and experience with various data sources.
- Familiarity with DAX.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage tasks effectively.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking startup environment.
- Bonus: Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Superset) or Python for data manipulation.
Work Mode & Location
Hybrid role: 3 days Work From Office
Remaining days remote/flexible as per project schedule.
