We are establishing ADB SAFEGATE Labs in Hyderabad, our newest extension of global engineering capabilities. The Labs focus on building and evolving digital platforms, data-driven services, and AI-enabled solutions that support airport operations across Airfield, Apron, Tower, and Weather domains.

As part of a globally distributed engineering organisation, the Hyderabad Labs collaborate with teams across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, contributing directly to solutions deployed at airports worldwide.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join ADB SAFEGATE Labs India. In this high-visibility role, you will design, implement, and maintain data collection systems and dashboards that track key performance indicators for our Value Creation Plan (VCP) initiatives.

You will regularly translate complex data into clear executive narratives, dashboards, and decision materials in partnership with Finance, Business Lines, and Operations. This role requires strong business acumen and hands-on technical expertise including Databricks (Medallion Architecture), Azure Data Factory, Power BI, SQL, and Python applied in an enterprise environment supporting global airport operations.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain data pipelines in Databricks (Bronze → Silver → Gold) and orchestrate them via Azure Data Factory
• Design Power BI dashboards and reports tracking VCP progress for ExCo and Senior Leadership
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal and external sources to monitor transformation KPIs
• Build and validate business cases using data-driven frameworks to support strategic decisions
• Identify trends in market share, tender win rates, cost performance, and flag risks early
• Prepare regular transformation progress updates and business cases for ExCo decision-making
• Work closely with Finance, Commercial, and Workstream Leaders to align data, KPIs, and reporting
• Maintain data quality, pipeline documentation, and governance standards
• Conduct ad hoc analysis as requested and proactively surface insights beyond the brief

We're Looking for Someone With:

• 4–7 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data engineering in an enterprise environment
• Strong analytical skills (Excel modelling, dashboards, Power BI, Databricks)
• Hands-on, production-grade experience with Databricks and Medallion Architecture
• Proven experience with Azure Data Factory for pipeline orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring
• End-to-end Power BI skills: DAX, semantic modelling, report development, and service/gateway publishing
• Strong SQL skills (complex queries, large datasets)
• Python proficiency for data wrangling, scripting, and pipeline automation
• Ability to present complex data analysis in clear PowerPoint slides for management
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills (oral, written, listening)
• Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones
• Candidates from big4s/consulting/banking industry will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a corporate finance or transformation environment, OR 1–2 years Management Consulting experience with strong quantitative focus
• Experience working with airport, aviation, or operational technology data
• Familiarity with SAP/S4 HANA data extraction and connector integration
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric
• Exposure to financial KPIs, P&L dynamics, and value-creation frameworks
• Experience supporting data governance and compliance initiatives

Education

• Master's degree required (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, or similar)
