About the Role
Policybazaar is looking for a Senior Content Writer to join our Content & SEO team for their UAE digital properties. In this role, you'll create high-quality, user-focused content across multiple insurance categories, helping customers make informed financial decisions while driving organic growth.
We're looking for someone who can simplify complex insurance topics into engaging, easy-to-understand content that ranks well on search engines and delivers real business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and optimize SEO-focused content across Health, Car, Life, Travel, Home, Business, and other insurance categories.
- Create landing pages, product pages, comparison pages, buying guides, blogs, FAQs, and educational content aligned with search intent.
- Conduct in-depth research on insurance products, policy features, pricing, regulations, and market trends to create authoritative and trustworthy content.
- Translate complex financial and insurance concepts into simple, customer-friendly language.
- Collaborate with SEO, Product, Sales, Design, and Business teams to develop content that supports lead generation and organic growth.
- Continuously update and optimize existing content based on performance data, industry changes, and user behavior.
- Ensure all content is AI free and is factually accurate, compliant, and aligned with UAE insurance regulations.
- Analyze content performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools to identify optimization opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice while producing content that delivers measurable business impact.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-7 years of professional content writing experience.
- Strong background in SEO content writing with a proven track record of driving organic growth.
- Exceptional research skills with the ability to deep dive into complex products, compare features, verify information, and produce insightful content.
- Excellent command of written English with strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to independently research unfamiliar topics and turn them into engaging, accurate, and actionable content.
- Experience working with CMS platforms and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in FinTech, Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
- Experience creating content for the UAE or wider EMEA markets is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of insurance products, personal finance, and digital comparison platforms is a plus.
