Job Profile: Senior Project Engineer (MEPF & Structure)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (MEPF & Structure) to manage and coordinate engineering and construction activities for commercial projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with US-based Project Managers, oversee project documentation, support estimating activities, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
Responsibilities:
· Manage end-to-end engineering and project coordination activities for MEPF, Structural, and Architectural projects.
· Coordinate daily with US-based Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
· Prepare, review, and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, shop drawings, and project documentation.
· Assist Project Managers in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and bid preparation during project initiation.
· Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy and compliance.
· Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and company quality procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
· Maintain and manage project document control systems and document management applications.
· Conduct technical training sessions and mentor junior engineers, architects, and trade partners.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
· Identify project risks, resolve technical issues, and support successful project completion within schedule and quality standards.
Must - Have Qualifications:
· 5–8 years of experience in Construction Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management with reputed construction, engineering consulting, or architectural firms.
· Strong experience in managing MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection) and Structural Engineering coordination across project lifecycles.
· Hands-on experience in Project Administration, including managing Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Shop Drawings, and engineering documentation.
· Proven experience in preparing Quantity Take-offs, assisting with Cost Estimation, and supporting pre-construction activities.
· Strong ability to read, interpret, and review Construction Drawings, Engineering Drawings, and Technical Specifications.
· Experience in maintaining QA/QC standards and ensuring compliance with project quality requirements.
· Hands-on experience in coordinating with US-based Project Managers, clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams.
· Proficiency in managing project documents using Document Management Applications and maintaining proper engineering records.
· Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu for drawing reviews, markups, and document collaboration.
· Experience using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or similar estimation software for quantity take-offs and cost estimation (preferred).
· Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit for BIM modeling and multidisciplinary coordination.
· Proficiency in Navisworks for model review, clash detection, and coordination.
· Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for preparing and reviewing engineering and construction drawings.
· Experience using Civil 3D for civil engineering design and documentation.
· Hands-on experience with Revizto for BIM collaboration, issue tracking, and project coordination.
· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and team mentoring skills with the ability to conduct technical training sessions.

· Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
