Roles & Responsibilities
Independently carry out Civil design activities such as preparation of design calculations / design sketches / checking of drawings for various type of structures like pipe racks, technological structures, process buildings, substations, tank farms, drainage systems, control rooms, non-plant buildings, equipment foundation, etc.
Should be capable of handling a team of engineers and designers and should have worked on some projects as Civil Lead Engineer.
Education and Experience :-
Civil Engineering degree is a must.
Minimum 15 years in Civil Department of an consultancy organization or technical services department of a Refinery / Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Chemical plant , out of which minimum 8 years should be experience in detail engineering of process plants.
Proficiency in use of analysis / design software's like STAAD-pro, familiar with codal provisions for design of RCC and steel structures.
Familiarity with tender preparation, technical bid evaluation, cost estimates, calculation of preliminary and final BOQ, etc.
