Senior Chemist - Technical Services

Role: Reliance Carbon Fiber - Technical Services - Sr. Chemist

Education: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering/Fiber Science

Experience: 5 to 13 years

Job Description:

1) Monthly, weekly, daily resource planning and ordering based on laboratory requirement.

2) Timely reporting of daily / weekly / monthly product characteristics to the concerned departments.

3) Manpower resource planning & lab effectiveness & efficiencies.

4) Annual budget plan.

5). Handling of customer complaint.

6) Asses the previous year performance of the department & plan improvement points while prepareing the yearly P&B formulation (Including AMC, reagents & chemicals etc.),

7) Adoption of cost control measures such as development of internal calibration techniques, to reduce -

a.Appraisal Cost

b.Cost of poor quality (Internal)

c.Compensation (External)

Preferred Experience:

1) Professional having Master /Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry / Fiber Science, from a reputed university having a proven track record in the respective field.

2) 8-10 Years of working experience in Laboratory in a similar site with hands on experience in handling laboratory teams

3) Experience of leading a Laboratory team with 24/7 shift rotation

4) Exposures in IMS / ISO system

5) Additional exposures in analytical methods related to composit / aerospace / high temperature processes.

6) Knowledge of automotive and aerospace quality certification
