Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Calypso DevOps Analyst with 5+ years of hands-on application support experience.

This role is focused on the provision of L2-L3 functional and technical support across Front, Middle and Back Office for the Calypso v18 platform and related applications, ensuring system stability, resolving user issues, supporting daily trading and implementing change.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for technical support and development queries across Front Office, Middle Office, and Operations
  • Provide L3 development support to assist with both incident resolution and Calypso change activities
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues across the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, pricing, risk, confirmations, settlements, and reporting
  • Perform daily health checks, End-of-Day/Start-of-Day monitoring, and ensure smooth system operation
  • Support static and reference data updates, workflow queries, and trade lifecycle events
  • Manage incidents and service requests within SLAs, escalating to internal IT or vendor when required
  • Support UAT, regression testing, and functional validation for upgrades, patches, and new releases
  • Provide user training, documentation, and guidance to enhance Calypso platform usage
  • Work with business users to understand requirements and contribute to continuous service improvements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Calypso technical support/development experience in a banking or financial services environment
  • Strong knowledge of Front-to-Back trade flows and key Calypso modules (e.g., Trading, Back Office, Accounting)
  • Solid understanding of at least two asset classes: FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income or Derivatives (IR/FX)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of messaging frameworks and associated infrastructure
  • Experience with small change activities and the SDLC, involving requirement gathering, code development, right through to Production Deployment and maintenance
  • An understanding of security requirements involved, including Certificate creation, enabling MFA, encryption and vulnerability patching, etc
  • The ability to build and maintain Deployment Pipelines, preferably via Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Shell Scripting to automate repetitive tasks and checks
  • Ability to write SQL queries and understanding Calypso database tables
