Role: Senior Business Development Executive – America's Market

Location: Bangalore, India (Utthunga HQ)

Work Hours: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST (Aligned to US Business Hours)

Experience: 2–5 years in Engineering Services BD

We're looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to drive our North American market growth from our Bangalore HQ. This is a high-impact role focused on building meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders, identifying strategic opportunities, and collaborating with global teams to deliver value-driven solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Run outbound outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone — targeting 40–50 high-quality touchpoints per day
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline of $1–2M+ in active opportunities annually
  • Lead leadership- and manager-level conversations and discovery calls to understand client needs and position relevant services
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaign follow-ups, trade show engagement, and webinar conversions
  • Coordinate RFPs, proposals, and pricing discussions with solution and delivery teams
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and reporting via HubSpot or Salesforce

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years in business development, sales, or inside sales within engineering services or industrial tech
  • Proven ability to generate qualified leads and convert them into real opportunities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging senior decision-makers
  • Solid understanding of North American sales culture, buying cycles, and lead qualification
  • Hands-on experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Salesforce, and other outbound sales platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory (preferred: Electronics, Electrical, CS, or Mechanical preferred)
