Job Description

Role & responsibilities
Identify and Target Prospective Retail Brands: Research and identify potential retail brands that align with our real estate projects target market and brand positioning. Conduct market analysis to understand the demand for specific retail segments in our properties.
Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders of retail brands. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to connect with potential partners.
Conduct Sales and Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, showcasing the benefits and unique selling points of our real estate projects to retail brands. Address inquiries and concerns effectively to facilitate the leasing process.
Negotiate and Close Deals: Lead negotiations with retail brands to secure favorable lease terms and conditions that align with the company's objectives. Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize lease agreements.
Collaborate with Marketing and Operations: Collaborate with the marketing team to create attractive and persuasive marketing collateral that highlights the value proposition of our real estate properties to retail brands. Work closely with the operations team to ensure that leased spaces meet the requirements and expectations of the retail partners.
Market Trends and Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, retail market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use this information to identify opportunities and propose strategies to enhance our real estate offerings.
Achieve Sales Targets: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed set sales targets for leased retail space. Track and report progress regularly to management.
Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with other departments such as leasing, finance, and project management to ensure seamless execution of lease agreements and the overall success of the real estate projects.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in business development, sales, or leasing roles within the real estate industry, with a specific focus on engaging with retail brands.
Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics, market trends, and consumer behaviour.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with potential retail partners and close deals.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Results-driven mind-set with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to track sales progress and manage leads.
