Senior Azure Data Engineer

Job description:

• We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing complex data solutions on the Azure platform.
• This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
• We are looking for an immediate joiner to contribute to our critical data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Data Factory (ADF) Development:

• Design and develop robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

• Implement complex data transformations and data integration processes.

• Optimize ADF pipelines for performance and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve ADF pipeline issues.

Azure Synapse Analytics Implementation:

• Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Develop and optimize Synapse SQL pools and serverless SQL pools.

• Design and implement data models for analytical workloads.

• Utilize Synapse Pipelines for data orchestration and integration.

Data Architecture & Design:

• Design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements.

• Develop data models and data flow diagrams.

• Ensure data quality and data governance.

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Azure data solutions.

• Optimize SQL queries and data processing pipelines.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data integration and warehousing processes.

Collaboration &Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.

• Communicate technical conceptseffectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
