Job Summary
The Senior Associate will be responsible for managing client engagements and will be supporting in advisory, litigation, and transactions work mainly in the area of Direct Taxes (Corporate tax, Transfer Pricing and International tax) and other related laws. We follow no Work from Home policy except in exceptional circumstances.
Job Description
Main Priorities
- Preparation and support in handling the litigation matters, including briefing of the Counsel
- Researching and preparing briefing notes/charts/paper books for income tax matters before ITAT, High Court, and Supreme Court
- Research for client advisory and transactions assignments drafting of the opinion and client communications
- Assisting and working on research papers, thought leadership, articles, etc.
- Any other support related to the firm's commitments
- Comfortable with travelling for firm commitments

- Proper formatting and referencing of the documents as per the firm's standards
- Efficient delivery of the output along with quality of language, presentation, and documentation
RequirementsEducational Qualifications
- Lawyer or Chartered Accountant or both
Experience
- About 2 to 5 years post-qualification experience

- Must have a strong foundational background of Income-tax law and its practical applicability
- Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills
- Good communication and soft skills
- Maintains a harmonious and collaborative relationship with others
