We're Hiring: Senior Architect (34 Years Experience)

At Zero Energy Design Lab (ZED Lab), we design spaces that are beautiful, high-performing, and environmentally regenerative. Our work blends design, research, technology, and sustainability to create India's next generation of net-zero energy buildings.

We're looking for a Senior Architect who's passionate about innovation and ready to take ownership of meaningful residential and public projects.

Qualifications required

B.Arch with 34 years of architectural + interior project experience

Strong in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite, and parametric tools like Rhino & Grasshopper

Confidence in leading projects from concept to completion

Excellent command of technical drawings (civil, MEP, structural, interior details)

Clear communication, leadership, and presentation abilities

A deep interest in net-zero design, passive strategies, and sustainable systems.

Skilled at managing timelines and design quality

Strong leadership with the ability to guide junior designers

Comfortable collaborating closely with clients, consultants & contractors

Curious, proactive, and excited about pushing design boundaries

What you'll be doing

Lead a growing team of 45 architects

Manage multiple residential or public building projects

Coordinate with structure, MEP, landscape, faade and other consultants

Ensure delivery of thoughtful, technically strong design outcomes

Mentor juniors and drive innovation & quality

Work hands-on with:

Net-zero building development workflows

Parametric + computational design to resolve building performance issues

New-age materials & systems for low-energy architecture

Sustainability guidelines, energy codes & climate-based design strategies
