Job Summary:

Salleel Deshpande Architect and Consultant is seeking an accomplished and creative Senior Architect to lead architectural design projects and guide multidisciplinary design teams. The ideal candidate will oversee all stages of architectural developmentfrom concept and design to detailing and executionensuring innovative, functional, and sustainable architectural solutions. This role requires strong design leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage diverse projects with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead conceptual design, design development, and architectural detailing for various project

types.

Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and external consultants to ensure

cohesive and high-quality design outcomes.

Prepare, review, and refine architectural drawings, presentations, technical documents, and

construction details.

Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and program development for new projects.

Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, local bylaws, and

sustainability standards.

Supervise material selection, finishes, and design specifications to maintain design integrity.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities for approvals and

smooth project execution.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and quality guidance to junior architects and design team

members.

Perform regular site visits to ensure adherence to design intent, resolve technical issues, and

maintain quality control.

Use architectural software to develop visualizations, presentations, and detailed design

outputs.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

46 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably within an architecture

consultancy or design firm.

Proven experience managing medium to large-scale architectural projects.

Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, and V-Ray.

Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building envelopes, spatial planning, and

construction techniques.

In-depth understanding of national building codes, local regulations, and sustainable design

practices.

Strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to create innovative, functional, and user-centered

design solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.

Ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and work under deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Requirements:

Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) or equivalent body is preferred.

A strong portfolio showcasing built and unbuilt architectural work is required.

Working Conditions:

Full-time, in-office role from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Occasional site visits and client meetings outside office hours.

Travel to project sites as needed.
