About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to lead the design and development of enterprise-scale solutions. This role requires deep expertise in system architecture, database design, AWS Cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML integration. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to define technology roadmaps, design scalable systems, and ensure best practices in cloud and AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design & Architecture
- Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Lead design reviews, propose best-fit architectures, and align solutions with business requirements.
- Build microservices-based and event-driven systems with strong integration capabilities.
- Database Architecture
- Design and optimize relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Establish data governance, security, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Guide teams on performance tuning, query optimization, and schema evolution.
- Cloud (AWS)
- Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, EKS, CloudFormation/Terraform).
- Define cost-optimized, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Drive adoption of DevOps/DevSecOps practices for CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Integrate AI/ML models into enterprise applications (NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics).
- Work with Data Scientists to operationalize ML pipelines on AWS (SageMaker, AI/ML services).
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor engineering teams on design principles, coding practices, and architectural excellence.
- Partner with business leaders to define technology strategy and digital transformation roadmap.
- Represent the company in technical discussions with clients, partners, and industry forums.
Required Skills & Experience
- System Design & Architecture: 8+ years in designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Cloud (AWS): Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, serverless, containers, and security frameworks.
- AI/ML: Exposure to AI/ML lifecycle, from model development to deployment.
- Programming: Strong in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Node.js) with exposure to APIs and microservices.
- DevOps: Familiar with CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or equivalent.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
- Knowledge of data security standards (GDPR, DPDP, HIPAA, etc.).
- Experience in BFSI, Healthcare, or Enterprise SaaS domains.
