About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to join the Market Data Operations team. This is primarily an Application Support / Production Support role focused on supporting market data applications, ensuring data quality, resolving incidents, and managing market data onboarding.
Location: Chennai – Perungudi (Work from Office)
Experience: 6 to 11+ Years
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1 & L2 support for Market Data applications.
- Support production environments and resolve application-related incidents.
- Manage and track incidents through JIRA while adhering to ITIL processes.
- Perform market data onboarding and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Validate and reconcile market data across multiple sources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and application issues.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Maintain documentation and provide proactive support to business users.
Required Skills
- 6–11+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Market Data Operations.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ITIL processes, especially Incident Management.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar ticketing tools.
- Understanding of Market Data, Commodity Data, or Energy domain.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
