We are looking for dynamic and customer-focused Application Engineers and Senior Application Engineers to join our growing team of NMT-Automation. NMT Automation division is a part of the NMTronics India Pvt. Ltd. and was established in the year 2016 with principal support from Kawasaki Heavy Industry (KHI) & Seiko Epson Corporation, Japan. Today, we have a dedicated manufacturing, integration, design, and demo facility that caters to multiple industrial clients along with a dedicated team of trained automation engineers. NMT Automation is proud to be a 100% Make in India manufacturing division making steady progress in the field of Special Purpose Machines and Robotics.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and demonstrate customer-specific applications within defined timelines.
- Understand customer requirements (VOC) and identify opportunities for automation solutions.
- Generate new application opportunities and support business development initiatives.
- Prepare application development plans, cost estimations, and technical proposals.
- Conduct internal and customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, industry trends, exhibitions, and seminars.
- Provide technical solutions for application development challenges and support cross-functional teams.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost optimization, and improved lead times.
- Monitor project execution, inventory, WIP, and application development costs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Establish and improve standard operating procedures and work integration systems.
- Manage project budgets, team expenses, and overall application execution performance.
- Review team performance, allocate resources, resolve technical issues, and provide management reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience in application engineering, industrial automation, machine building, or manufacturing solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong customer interaction, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to understand customer processes and propose value-added automation solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Application Engineer: 2–5 Years
- Senior Application Engineer: 5–10 Years
