Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing general ledger accounts, preparing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting, account reconciliations, and supporting audits. The role also involves mentoring junior staff and assisting in process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management
• Expertise in tax preparation, compliance, and regulatory filings
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools like QuickBooks, SAP, or similar
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus)
• At least 5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities
• Experience with audit processes and internal controls is advantageous
