Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance, filings, and reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain proper documentation and internal control systems.
- Ensure timely closing of books and financial reporting to management.
- Support in cost analysis, MIS reporting, and financial process improvements.
- Liaise with banks, vendors, and other stakeholders for accounting-related matters.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred (not mandatory).
- 710 years of hands-on accounting experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / other accounting software.
- Excellent understanding of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and integrity in handling financial data.
