About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our team during a critical rebuilding phase. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being actively involved in day-to-day accounting operations rather than managing from a high level.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with NetSuite ERP, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting while identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze financial statement variances and provide explanations.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with finance and business teams to improve accounting processes.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Utilize NetSuite ERP and Excel to manage financial data and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Audit coordination and tax support experience.
• Familiarity with AI-powered accounting tools and automation.
• Corporate accounting background.
