Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Develop and enhance scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated regression and functional test suites.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, and automation strategy discussions.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
  • Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve automation coverage and framework efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks (Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Hybrid, Keyword-Driven, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
  • Good knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
  • Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
  • Knowledge of Maven/Gradle for build management.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
