Role: Security IP Validation Engineer
Areas Of Re Sponsibility
- Develop and execute validation test plans for Security IPs and SoC security features.
- Create and automate test cases for functional, stress, performance, and corner-case validation.
- Validate hardware security modules such as Secure Boot, Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), Random Number Generators (TRNG/PRNG)
- Perform pre-silicon validation using emulation/simulation platforms and post-silicon validation on silicon boards.
- Analyze and debug failures using logs, waveforms, traces, and hardware debug tools.
- Debug design, firmware, and system-level issues using waveform analysis and debugging tools.
Experience
7+ Years
- Strong understanding of Digital Design and SoC Architecture.
- Experience in C programing
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture and hardware validation methodologies.
- Experience in Security IP validation and security subsystem testing.
- Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms such as AES, RSA, ECC, SHA, HMAC, and TLS fundamentals.
- Experience with secure boot, key provisioning, authentication, and hardware security concepts.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation.
- Good debugging skills using JTAG, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.
- Experience with Linux operating systems and embedded environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience with ARM TrustZone, TEE, Secure Enclave, or Hardware Root of Trust.
- Understanding of PCIe, USB, UFS, Ethernet, or other SoC interfaces from a security perspective.
Experience in firmware validation and security protocol testing.
