Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SDET QA Automation Tester with strong expertise in Automation Testing, REST API Testing, and SOAP UI to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks, testing enterprise applications, and ensuring software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
• Perform REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, and SOAP UI.
• Execute Manual, Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End testing.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, track, and validate software defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify defect fixes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Ensure application quality, reliability, performance, and security through comprehensive testing.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing best practices.
  
  

Required Skills

• 7 12 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Expertise in REST API Testing, SOAP UI, Postman, and REST Assured.
• Strong programming skills in Java (Python or C# is an added advantage).
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber (BDD).
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and API Testing.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of security testing methodologies.
• Experience testing microservices and cloud-based applications.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is an added advantage.
  
  

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc).
