About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET 2) to drive quality engineering through automation, innovation, and AI-powered testing practices.
The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, expertise in test automation, API validation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern quality engineering. Experience leveraging Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to improve test coverage, accelerate delivery, and enhance engineering productivity is essential.
You will own quality across Web, Mobile, API, and Microservices-based applications while collaborating with Product, Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and Data teams.
What You Will Do
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API testing.
- Build functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites.
- Develop reusable automation libraries, utilities, and quality accelerators.
- Increase automation coverage while optimizing execution time.
- Drive Shift-Left testing practices and identify testability gaps early in the SDLC.
- Automate REST and GraphQL APIs, validate Microservices, Message Queues, and backend workflows.
- Perform database validation, contract testing, and service virtualization.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, reporting, and release validation.
- Leverage Generative AI for test design, automation, debugging, RCA, and intelligent test generation.
- Build AI-driven quality accelerators using LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and AI-assisted validation.
- Define AI governance and validation strategies for AI-enabled products.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architects, DevOps, and SRE teams.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive engineering excellence, RCA, and continuous quality improvements.
