Job Title: Scada Engineer

Role Summary

The role requires understanding, troubleshooting, maintenance and change implementation of the current SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system developed on Ignition Platform and should be able to troubleshoot the Codesys related issues. The person should have experience of handling SCADA system. Experience of Energy Management would be additional advantage.

Responsibilities

Ignition Certification – essential CORE Certification and desirable GOLD Certification

The engineer should be able to Designs, program and maintains SCADA/HMI (Human Machine Interface) user interface using Ignition Designer.

Should have an expertise in designing and implementing web interface using Ignition Perspective. Should have expertise in scripting in Python within Ignition.

Experience in Interfacing with the OPC Server/Client and other external systems.

Experience in Tag Historian and report function implementation

Integration of Maria db /Influx db with the SCADA backend using SQL Bridge.

Backup and Restore operations.

Managing alarms, indicators, and alert notification.

Integration with email and other messaging services.

Should be proficient in program development using Structured Text (ST) and ExST under Codesys Automation Server and scripting.

Experience of handling industrial protocols like Modbus, Profibus, EthernetIP, DNP3, etc.

Experience in setting up and integration with OPC Server and OPC Client.

Prerequisites: Qualification - BE/B Tech/MCA

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience
