Mechanical Design Engineer – MCAD/ECAD Integration
Experience: 3–6 Years (Candidates with 5+ years and the ability to work independently are preferred)

About The Role
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in Creo, Sheet Metal Design, and MCAD-ECAD collaboration processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in integrating mechanical and electronic designs, particularly using IDF/IDX workflows, and should be capable of independently handling design activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and modify mechanical designs using Creo Parametric.
- Create and manage sheet metal components and assemblies.
- Collaborate closely with ECAD teams for PCB and enclosure integration.
- Perform MCAD-ECAD data exchange using IDF/IDX processes.
- Ensure mechanical designs comply with manufacturability, assembly, and design standards.
- Review and validate mechanical packaging of electronic components.
- Coordinate with electrical, hardware, and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, drawings, and engineering change records.
- Support prototype development and design validation activities.
- Independently manage assigned tasks and deliverables within project timelines.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Creo Parametric.
- Good experience in Sheet Metal Design.
- Strong understanding of MCAD-ECAD collaboration processes.
- Hands-on experience with IDF/IDX file exchange and integration workflows.
- Experience in mechanical packaging and electronic enclosure design.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in PCB enclosure and electronics packaging design.
- Exposure to product development lifecycle and engineering change management.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional global teams.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Design and MCAD-ECAD integration.
- Immediate to 30 days joiners are preferred.
- Candidates located in Bengaluru or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
