Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP WM (Warehouse Management) Consultant with 7–12 years of expertise in SAP WM and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in warehouse processes, inventory management, storage strategies, goods movement, and integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, and EWM. Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, support, and rollout projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and provide SAP WM solutions to support warehouse operations.
- Configure and support SAP WM processes, including:
- Warehouse Structure Setup
- Storage Types & Storage Bins
- Putaway Strategies
- Picking Strategies
- Transfer Requirements (TR)
- Transfer Orders (TO)
- Inventory Management
- Physical Inventory
- Stock Transfers
- Participate in end-to-end implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
- Design and optimize warehouse processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and developments.
- Coordinate with ABAP teams for custom objects and interfaces.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT activities.
- Provide production support and resolve critical warehouse-related issues.
- Create and maintain functional and configuration documentation.
