The SAP SD Consultant will design and configure Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes that integrate with the Vertex tax engine and SAP DRC, ensuring accurate tax calculations and compliance across sales, billing, and invoicing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Order-to-Cash (OTC) Process Management
- Configure and manage end-to-end SD processes: sales order, delivery, and billing
- Ensure a smooth flow from order creation to invoice generation
- Vertex Tax Integration – Sales Transactions
- Ensure accurate tax calculation for sales orders and billing documents
- Validate SAP SD and Vertex tax engine integration
- Support data mapping for tax determination, including customer ship-to, material, and pricing elements
- Manage tax calculation triggers during SD transactions involving Vertex
- Pricing and Output Determination
- Configure and maintain pricing procedures, tax conditions, and output determination
- Ensure alignment between SD pricing, Vertex tax determination, and DRC requirements
- Support invoice form and e-document readiness
- DRC E‑Invoicing Compliance Integration
- Ensure SD billing documents are ready for DRC submission and compliant with country-specific regulations.
- Support outgoing invoice validation and integration with the eDocument cockpit
