Sap Sales Distribution Consultant

Job Purpose/ Summary*

To perform a bridge circuit role between Sales/Marketing & Dispatch/Billing team and IT SAP Technical support by converting business requirements into SAP functional understanding. The role will also perform an integration role with ware house, finance, costing, planning, quality & materials team.

Job Description*

1. To closely coordinate with Sales/Marketing, Dispatch/Billing & Logistics team, understand business need and provide SAP support.

2. Ensure timely maintenance of masters into SAP system and updated in all respect.

3. Addressing SD tickets as per SLA

4. Audit the SAP-SD process on timely manner and

5. Learn about SAP best practices and apply into system.

6. Facilitate SAP SD module related training programs

7. Drive Digital initiatives in SD area.

9. Prepare business requirement specification document & perform UAT for SD relevant new development/enhancement.

10. Ensure proper authorization access of SD relevant roles to users in order to avoid any conflict and audit observations.

11. Coordination with internal & external agencies.

Principal Accountabilities*

1. Master data management for SD module.

2. SD basic level configuration in SAP, Key data Structure for SD.

3. L0 & L1 level support to sales team.

4. Addressing new requirements and business reporting.

5. Knowledge on SAP MM backend tables & initial debugging skills.

6. Knowledge on interface integrations with SAP MM module.
