SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Lead Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Lead Consultant to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ABAP development specifically tailored for S/4 HANA environments and will take a lead role in delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of SAP S/4 HANA ABAP solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration of custom development with standard SAP functionalities.
• Perform code reviews and ensure best practices in ABAP programming are followed.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
• Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs and interfaces.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with a focus on S/4 HANA.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and development tools.
• Experience with Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, and PP.
• Proficient in performance tuning and debugging ABAP code.
• Experience with enhancements, user exits, and BADIs.
• Knowledge of data migration techniques and tools in S/4 HANA.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming in ABAP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
