Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager / Delivery Executive with a strong background in managing and delivering SAP Ariba implementation projects. The ideal candidate should possess excellent project management, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with proven expertise in driving end-to-end SAP programs across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and governance activities across all project phases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Manage client communication and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Coordinate onsite and offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution and effective resource utilization.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, timelines, budgets, and quality metrics, and implement mitigation plans as required.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, steering committee updates, and executive reviews.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, best practices, and organizational standards.
- Oversee testing, deployment, go-live, and hypercare activities to ensure smooth project transitions.
- Drive issue resolution, escalation management, and decision-making to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure successful delivery of SAP Ariba solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Mentor project teams and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of overall SAP experience.
- Proven experience in managing SAP Ariba implementation and transformation projects.
- Strong project management and delivery expertise across large-scale SAP programs.
- Hands-on experience in project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with global delivery models and coordinating onsite/offshore teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
- Prior experience leading SAP procurement and SAP Ariba transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
