We are looking for an experienced SAP MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant with strong ABAP development skills to design, develop, and support master data solutions across multiple SAP modules. The candidate should be able to manage end-to-end MDM processes, ensure data governance, and build custom enhancements using ABAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP MDM solutions to manage master data across systems.
- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, interfaces, reports, and data conversions related to MDM.
- Create and manage MDM repositories, data models, workflow configurations, and validation rules.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple source systems.
- Integrate MDM with SAP and non-SAP systems using ALE, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and Web Services.
- Support data cleansing, data mapping, and data harmonization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business teams to define data governance policies and ensure data quality compliance.
- Troubleshoot and optimize ABAP code for performance and maintainability.
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable MDM solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDM (7.1 or higher) repository management, data modeling, syndication, and workflows.
- Proficient in SAP ABAP: Reports, SmartForms, BAPIs, Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, and RFCs.
- Experience in MDG / MDM integration with SAP ERP and external systems.
- Working knowledge of ALE, IDoc, and OData services.
- Good understanding of data governance and master data lifecycle management.
- Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
