Role Description The SAP IBP Consultant (C2H) role is a contract position based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the consultant will configure and manage SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) modules, focusing on demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, designing IBP solutions, maintaining master data, overseeing system integration with related SAP and non-SAP applications, and ensuring data accuracy. The consultant will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to map business processes, provide consulting support, perform system testing, and drive continuous improvement. Additional tasks include preparing documentation, training end users, and supporting issue resolution to maintain system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of genuine experience in SAP IBP.
• Deep technical expertise in SAP IBP, with strong focus on Demand Planning and S&OP, including advanced configuration and optimization in a complex supply network. 
• Proven experience across multiple SAP IBP modules such as Response and Supply.
• Sound technical understanding of System Integration into SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, model scenarios, and support planning decisions within SAP IBP.
• Consulting experience, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and solution design for planning processes.
• Hands-on experience with Master Data management in SAP IBP, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and governance.
• Knowledge of Integration between SAP IBP and related systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S4HANA, other planning tools) for end-to-end process continuity.
• Practical experience implementing or supporting SAP IBP modules (such as Demand, Supply, Inventory, Response & Supply) is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in SAP tools, Excel, and reporting/analytics platforms used for planning and performance tracking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in hybrid teams and multicultural environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications in IBP or supply chain are an advantage.
• Initial 6 months contract and later Full time with the customer directly based on the performance.
