Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA XSA Developer with strong expertise in SAP HANA Native Development and hands-on experience in building applications, data models, and reporting solutions on the SAP HANA Extended Application Services Advanced (XSA) platform. The ideal candidate should also possess working knowledge of SAP BW (BW on HANA/BW/4HANA) and understand end-to-end data provisioning from SAP S/4HANA to reporting solutions.

The role involves designing and developing HANA XSA artifacts, creating optimized data models, integrating data replicated through SLT, supporting BW data provisioning, and enabling business reporting using SAP Analysis for Office (AO).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP HANA XSA applications and native HANA data models.
• Build and optimize Calculation Views, SQLScript procedures, and Table Functions for reporting and analytics.
• Develop and manage HDI Containers, Synonyms, and Virtual Tables within the XSA environment.
• Consume data replicated from SAP S/4HANA using SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT).
• Collaborate with SAP BW teams to support efficient data provisioning and reporting.
• Optimize HANA models and SQL performance for high-volume reporting scenarios.
• Deploy and maintain HANA artifacts using HDI Containers and Git-based development practices.
• Work closely with business analysts and functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across the reporting landscape.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support for HANA models and applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA XSA (XS Advanced) development.
• Expertise in SAP HANA Native Development.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Synonyms
• Virtual Tables
• Strong understanding of HANA data modeling and performance optimization.
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and/or SAP BTP is an added advantage.
• Experience with SLT for real-time data replication.
• Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket and Agile development methodologies.
