We are looking for a motivated SAP FICO Consultant with around 2 years of experience who can support implementation and support projects while working closely with senior consultants and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in SAP FICO implementation, rollout, and support projects.
- Configure and maintain Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules as per business requirements.
- Work on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Cost Center Accounting.
- Assist in requirement gathering, business process mapping, and system configuration.
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support data migration activities and financial data validation.
- Work closely with technical teams (ABAP) and cross-functional modules such as MM and SD.
- Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution for finance-related SAP processes.
- Prepare documentation including configuration documents, test scripts, and user manuals.
Must Have Skills / Requirements- 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO module.
- SAP FICO certification is mandatory or strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of core FI components:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Knowledge of Controlling (CO) components such as:
- Cost Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profit Center Accounting
- Experience in configuration and basic customization of SAP FICO.
- Good understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes.
- Experience in testing (Unit Testing & UAT support).
- Ability to analyze issues and provide functional solutions.
Good To Have Skills
- Exposure to S/4HANA Finance environment.
- Basic knowledge of integration with MM and SD modules.
- Experience working on implementation or rollout projects.
- Basic understanding of ABAP concepts for functional consultants (debugging, functional specs).
- Knowledge of GST / Indian taxation configuration in SAP.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
