About the Role
The Digital Finance Layer (DFL) is the global SAP S4/HANA Central Finance system used for real-time reporting and analysis by consolidating data across federated and non-federated ERPs (SAP and non-SAP). Reporting is primarily done through SAP Analysis for Office (AFO).
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant with deep expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and AFO, who will be responsible for validating, troubleshooting, and designing end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- BW/HANA Development & Data Modelling
- Work with BW models in HANA Studio such as Composite Providers, Advanced DSOs, Open ODS Views.
- Design and develop end-to-end data flows including extractors, DTPs, and Open Hub.
- Extract and model data from SAP S/4HANA into BW/4HANA.
- Build BEx queries and data models for reporting.
- S4/HANA & CDS Views
- Develop and optimize CDS Views for SAC/Fiori consumption.
- Assess standard content vs. custom CDS wrappers and replication strategies.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Design, implement, and optimize SAC deployment architecture.
- Establish connectivity between S4/HANA, Datasphere, SAC, and external sources (Excel, etc.).
- Architect and implement SAP Analytics for Office (AFO) solutions, including landscapes (DEV, UAT, PROD).
- Design and implement Key Control Reporting via SAC/AFO.
- Develop security models (folder, dataset, row-level) for SAC and AFO.
- Technical Development
- Utilize ABAP, Advanced SQLScript (AMDP), and SQL for solution development.
- Automate reporting workflows and enhance performance of analytics solutions.
- Integration & Security
- Architect an integrated SAP security solution for SAC and AFO.
- Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of reporting and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 810 years of total experience with at least 58 years in SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
- Strong expertise in:
- BW/4HANA or BW on HANA (data modeling & extraction).
- SAP Datasphere/DWC.
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) story design, application designer.
- SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) implementation & deployment.
- Embedded Analytics using CDS Views.
- Strong programming skills in ABAP, AMDP, and SQL.
- Good understanding of Fiori applications (advantageous).
- Experience delivering at least 2 end-to-end projects in BW/4HANA or Datasphere with SAC/AFO integration.
