SAP Basis Consultant - HANA / BTP Modules
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant with extensive experience in S4 HANA upgrades. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our SAP HANA environments throughout the upgrade process, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- System installation & configuration skills are essential to install, configure, and maintain SAP HANA systems, ensuring proper setup and optimal functionality.
- Database administration capabilities are required to perform tasks such as backup, recovery, system copy, and performance tuning to ensure system integrity and availability.
- Performance & high availability monitoring will be conducted to manage SAP HANA system performance, ensuring high availability and stability.
- System upgrades & updates expertise will be utilized to implement SAP HANA system updates, patches, and version upgrades, ensuring compliance with the latest standards and best practices.
- Error identification & resolution abilities are crucial to diagnose and resolve SAP system errors and performance issues.
- Integration & collaboration skills are necessary to work closely with cross-functional IT teams, ensuring smooth integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
- Documentation & knowledge management proficiency is required to maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and upgrade processes for future reference and audits.
- User support & training capabilities will be provided to end-users and internal teams on SAP HANA functionalities and best practices.
- Security & compliance implementation skills are vital to maintain security measures for SAP HANA systems and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- System monitoring & troubleshooting expertise is essential to continuously monitor system performance, identifying and troubleshooting potential risks or failures proactively.
- Industry updates & best practices awareness is expected to stay informed on the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in SAP HANA to enhance system efficiency and performance.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant with S4 HANA upgrade expertise is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, administration, and system management is essential.
- Hands-on experience with SAP system installation, configuration, and migration is required.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are vital.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively in a team environment is necessary.
General Requirements
- Employment Type: This is a Permanent, full-time position.
- Candidates who can join within 4 weeks are preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle, DB2, and SQL database management systems is beneficial.
- Understanding of ITIL foundations and project management methodologies is desired.
- Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) is highly valued.
