Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
SAP Basis Administrator with a strong technical background in SAP system administration, installation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing SAP systems and ensuring system performance, stability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems and components.
- Manage system performance, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting across SAP landscapes.
- Execute system refreshes, client copies, and transport management activities.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and kernel updates as required.
- Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations within SAP systems.
- Ensure system backups, recovery procedures, and high availability configurations are in place.
- Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and system improvements.
- Support security and compliance audits by ensuring system integrity and adherence to policies.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, change logs, and procedures.
Required Skills And Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Basis administration, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with SAP installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Understanding of transport management system (TMS) and client administration.
- Knowledge of SAP system architecture and landscape design.
- Familiarity with database administration (Oracle, HANA, or SQL).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Good To Have Skills
- Exposure to SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
- Knowledge of cloud-based SAP environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with automation tools and scripting for SAP administration.
