The Ariba Functional Consultant will support the onboarding of a new entity into an existing Sandoz Ariba Sourcing and Contracts environment. The role is responsible for end-to-end functional delivery, including gap identification, solution design, configuration, migration, testing, and cutover, ensuring seamless integration into the live system.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate design workshops to understand entity-specific requirements and identify gaps versus the existing Ariba template
Analyze gaps and define pragmatic solutions aligned with the current system setup, including documenting and tracking deviations
Configure and adapt SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts to support the onboarding of the new entity
Execute end-to-end supplier and contract migration, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and upload
Support and drive testing activities (SIT/UAT), including issue resolution and system adjustments
Prepare and execute cutover activities to ensure a smooth transition to production
Document all identified gaps, agreed solutions, and deviations from the standard template
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, IT, procurement and business users to ensure aligned and timely delivery
Support user onboarding by contributing to training materials and participating in knowledge transfer sessions
Provide hypercare support post go-live to resolve functional issues and stabilize operations
Key Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts in a live system environment
Strong experience in system onboarding projects (template-based deployments)
Proven track record in supplier and contract migration
Experience leading workshops, performing gap analysis, and defining functional solutions
Solid understanding of testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and cutover planning/execution
Strong documentation skills, especially around requirements, gaps, and deviations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment with tight deadlines
