Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant/Developer
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant/Developer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, with additional expertise in S/4HANA, and SAP SD Knowledge. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and supporting complex SAP applications to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality SAP ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces in S/4HANA environments.
- Design and implement custom SAP solutions using ABAP, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain APIs to enable seamless integration between SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Perform debugging, tracing, and performance tuning of SAP programs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP ABAP developments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within timelines.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, applying them to enhance existing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in S/4HANA, ABAP, and SAP Fiori development.
- Proficiency in designing and developing SAP applications using ABAP Objects, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and IDocs.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, database integration, and web services in SAP environments.
- Familiarity with SAP debugging tools, tracing, and performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP enhancement frameworks (User Exits, BADI, BAPI).
- Experience with CDS views, AMDPs, and OData services.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA is a plus
