Black And White Business Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer. This pivotal role requires an expert in configuring, managing, and customizing Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions, alongside strong knowledge of CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) and the Orders Lifecycle. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of the Salesforce CPQ data model, product setup, pricing, and discounting to design and implement robust solutions that meet complex business requirements. This is a remote position requiring an immediate joiner.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions to accurately meet complex business requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in configuring, managing, and customizing Salesforce CPQ, CLM, and the Orders Lifecycle.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the Data Model related to Salesforce CPQ.
- Apply in-depth knowledge in Product setup, Product Options, Product configuration & rules, Pricing, Discounting, and Quote templates within Salesforce CPQ.
- Utilize CPQ experience to integrate Salesforce with external systems using various connectors, SOAP/REST APIs.
- Customize and configure Salesforce CPQ to effectively support complex pricing models, product configurations, and quoting processes.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain custom Salesforce CPQ components, including price rules, product rules, and quote templates.
- Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other systems, such as ERP and CRM, to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Perform data migration, data cleansing, and data validation activities specifically related to CPQ data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently related to Salesforce CPQ functionality and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce CPQ features and best practices, actively recommending improvements to existing processes and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a significant focus on CPQ.
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification is required. This certification is a significant advantage and demonstrates expert-level proficiency.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ functionality, including comprehensive knowledge of product configuration, advanced pricing models, and sophisticated quoting processes.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs for developing custom functionalities and integrations.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and ETL tools to connect Salesforce with other enterprise systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) is a plus, indicating broader Salesforce ecosystem knowledge.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, enabling effective participation in agile sprints and ceremonies.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies to enhance user interfaces and integrate web components.
